Questions, answered
What is Seedance 2?
Seedance 2 (also written Seedance 2.0) is ByteDance's latest AI video model, built for cinematic, multi-shot clips with lifelike motion and synced audio. On Ronana it comes in Standard, Fast, and Mini variants, and can generate video from a text prompt or from image, video, and audio references.
How do you use Seedance 2?
Open Ronana's studio, choose Seedance 2 as your model, and write a prompt describing the shot. Optionally add reference images, a video, or audio to steer it, pick your resolution and duration, then generate. The finished clip lands in your library to download or upscale — no install and no ByteDance account required.
Where can I use Seedance 2?
You can use Seedance 2 directly in your browser on Ronana. Sign up for a free account, open the studio, and select Seedance 2. Generation runs on Ronana's servers, so it works the same on any computer or phone with no software to install.
Can you use Seedance 2 in the United States?
Yes. Although Seedance 2 is made by ByteDance, you can use it from the United States and other regions through Ronana, because generation runs server-side on Ronana's own infrastructure. You don't need a BytePlus or ByteDance account, a VPN, or any regional setup.
Is Seedance 2 free?
Creating a Ronana account is free and the in-browser upscaler is free, but Seedance 2 video generation runs on credits. Every plan includes a monthly credit grant that works across all models, so you can spend it on Seedance 2 or any other model. See the pricing page for details.
How much does Seedance 2 cost?
Seedance 2 is billed from your Ronana credit balance, which is shared across every model on the platform. Longer clips and higher resolutions use more credits. Choose a plan on the pricing page; you can cancel anytime.
What resolution does Seedance 2 support?
Seedance 2 Standard generates up to 4K, with 1080p and 720p options; the Fast and Mini variants focus on quicker, lower-resolution drafts. 4K output uses the HEVC (H.265) format, which not every browser can play back directly.
Can Seedance 2 use reference images or video?
Yes. Seedance 2 is a multimodal reference-to-video model: you can guide a generation with one or more reference images, a reference video, and reference audio. Add them in the studio before you generate to steer the look, motion, or sound.
How long can Seedance 2 videos be?
Seedance 2 generates clips from 4 up to 15 seconds, or you can let the model choose the length. Pick the duration in the studio before generating.
How does Seedance 2 compare to Veo, Kling, and Sora?
Seedance 2 is one of several leading video models on Ronana, alongside Google Veo, Kling, Sora, Vidu, Wan, and Runway. Instead of committing to one, you can switch between them in the same studio and use whichever suits a shot — Seedance 2 stands out for cinematic multi-shot motion with audio. Shared credits work across all of them.
